Totonho's "Tudo para ser feliz" video clip
I did this music video with the BijaRi Studio in 2002.
Totonho is from Paraiba, in the Northwest mountainous area of Brazil, considered by some to be "hillbilly" country. It's no wonder that Totonho's best friend is a mountain goat, as manifested in this video, and in his CD Totonho e os Cabra. But far from being a naïve video, this is a cutting edge animation that backs up lyrics filled with whimsical "saudade", the elusive sense of regret and longing that is a national characteristic of Brazil, and particularly the Portuguese language.
